After this, click on 'Continue' and double-click Desktop Windows Manager Service. Now from the Properties window, set the start up type to automatic. In order to start a service, you need to click 'Start'. It is suggested to click the 'Stop' button if status is running. To exit, you can click 'Ok' and close Services window.
Another method is to boot in Safe Mode. This can be done by removing all floppy disks, DVDs and CDs from your PC. After removing these it is advised to restart your PC. Click on the arrow which is next to the Lock button and after clicking on the 'Start' button you need to click 'Restart'. If your PC is installed with more than one operating system, then use the arrow keys to emphasize the operating system which you want to start in Safe Mode and then it is recommended to press F8.
