There are several reasons for IP address conflicts that occur in the network. If the computers in the network have been assigned the same static IP address, it creates an IP address conflicts. When a computer is in sleep mode or hibernate mode and become active when switched to other network, it also causes IP address conflicts. Another issue which causes IP address conflicts is the malfunction of internal DHCP server. If your system has multiple network adapters, then there is a chance of conflict of IP address with itself.
If the IP address conflicts are due to the malfunction of internal DHCP server then update the firmware on your router. Another possible tip to resolve IP address conflicts is by renewing IP Address. This can be done by using command prompt of your Windows Operating System.
