Common Issues to Solve Microsoft® Windows® IP Address Lookup
Finding IP address in Windows System and tips to solve the issues in it
The Internet Protocol address (IP address) is a numerical identity assigned to each system in a network connection. The main use of IP address is host or network identification and location addressing. Today’s version is a 32-bit number and it uses IPv4 protocol. They are binary numbers but displayed in human readable form like 172.16.225.2. IP address is like a telephone number for a system. The IP address may be changing each time user visits site or it may be same always. Other system contacts you through IP address. In teleconferencing IP, address will be useful to identify. In office workspace, hardware devices like printers or file servers can have separate IP address. Domain Name System (DNS) translates IP address to words.
