Then locate ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE’ and navigate ‘MicrosoftWindowsNTCurrentVersionSetupRecoveryConsole’. Then set the ‘DWORD’ security level value to 1. Then exit the registry and reboot the computer. In most cases the reason to failure of Windows Recovery Console access is due to the problem with the CD. Try to clean the CD. Using Windows Recovery Console you can access only the root folder and its subfolders, cmdcons folder. If you try to access any other folder you may get error message ‘Access Denied’.
